Islamic Arts & Crafts Festival Entry

On Saturday 3rd August we are holding an Islamic Arts and Crafts Festival in London to raise funds for MAP. We want to help our Brothers and Sisters in Palestine and are channeling all our energies into this to raise awareness and funds InshaAllah. The event is a celebration of the skills, passion and talent within our communities, that we are so proud of, and grateful for. We want to showcase our local role models and give you an opportunity to own some of their artwork, lose yourself in the beauty of their crafts and be enriched through hearing their words.

The festival will be filled with all sorts of items to buy, activities to take part in and plenty of food and drink. All profits donated to MAP to fund the critical work they are doing in Palestine.

Come and spend the day with us we will have –

•  Food and drinks

•  Tea, coffee and cakes

•  Spoken word workshop with Mizan @MizanCampaigner

•  Poetry reading where we will invite audience participation so bring your poems.

•  Book readings Shahd Mahnavi @shahdmah850 who will be selling her book ‘white shoes’ with all proceeds going to MAP.

 We will have a kids corner for the little ones amongst us, to participate colouring and creating activities.

We will also have a silent auction with incredible artwork already donated by @fitra_design.std

This is just the beginning we hope that with the barakah your great energy brings the day will be filled with love and blessings. If you’re on the fence jump off and join in, all profits will go to MAP InshaAllah.

@shahrasaleem at Arabesque Artisan selling stunning and intricately designed tote bags, t-shirts and canvases which can all be personalised.
