Perhaps this is the third time in humanity that we have stood as one. πŸ‡΅πŸ‡Έ ❀️

Perhaps the first was when we were together and we gave allegiance - the Day of Alast - the primordial covenant.

The second is implied when Allah SWT describes our togetherness through the following verses -

49:13 'Human beings, We created you all from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes so that you may know one another. Verily the noblest of you in the sight of Allah is the most God-fearing of you.'

45:17 'And We gave them clear proofs from the Command. And they differed not till after knowledge had come unto them, out of envy among themselves. Thy Lord will surely judge between them on the Day of Resurrection regarding that wherein they used to differ.'

It feels like the third is now. πŸ‡΅πŸ‡Έ

As we sit on our prayer mats moving through the grief, the rage and often the despair, we are also trying to make sense of our world now that the veils are gone. This is perhaps the closest we have come to the narrative now being clear on the afterlife and the transitory nature of this life. The people of πŸ‡΅πŸ‡Έ who have been martyred will be free of this and perhaps there is some reassurance in that. Although we carry some of this life into the next they will be gifted peace in their hearts. For those of us who have experienced despair in our hearts we know what a precious gift that really is.

7:43 And We shall remove whatever rancor lies within their breasts. Rivers shall run below them. And they will say, "Praise be to God, Who guided us unto this. We not have been rightly guided, had God not guided us. The messengers of our Lord certainly brough The Truth." And a call will be made unto them, "This is the Garden. You have inherited it for that which you used to do."

So many have been ignited and that is a clear sign that change will come, we are already riding that wave. Just as Prophet Noah pbuh pleaded with everyone to join him on his ship of truth before it was too late, many of you are also pleading with those around you to see. Follow your heart - 'seeing' is a gift from God. πŸ©΅πŸ’™

For those moments through this journey where we are seeking some 'levelling up', Allah SWT reminds us,

Allah SWT says, 45:23 'Or do those who commit evil deeds suppose that We shall treat them like those who believe and perform righteous deeds equally in their life and in their death? Evil indeed is the judgement they make!'

As we float through our existing life, dazed and with a forced smile holding on to hope and faith the Qur'an guides us to be patient. Patient when we break down alone as though we have lost a dear one. Patient when the emotions take over. Patient when we are giving up comforts, rearranging our lives, speaking despite the fear. Remember Allah SWT says,

We have protection - 17:45 'And when thou recitest the Qur'an, We place a hidden veil between thee and those who believe not in the Hereafter.'

We know that Prophet Muhammad pbuh, said, β€œWhoever tries to be patient then God will help him to be patient”.

We are one as we drive resilience and hold on to the rope with all our might. We are one as we pray in the collective to ask Allah SWT to deliver his innocent people.

3:103. 'And hold firmly to the rope of Allah and do not be divided. Remember Allah's favour upon you when you were enemies, then He united your hearts, so you by His grace became brothers.'

We are one as we thank the chosen people πŸ‡΅πŸ‡Έ for their sacrifices because it is off the back of their loss that we are no longer blind. We must seek forgiveness and ask that Allah SWT increase us in knowledge so we may say good words and be instrumental in delivering peace.

39:53 'Surely, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed He is the most Forgiving, the Merciful'

20:114 Exalted is Allah, the True King! Do not rush to recite a revelation of the Quran 'O Prophet' before it is properly conveyed to you, and pray, β€œMy Lord! Increase me in knowledge.”

20:109 'On that Day of intercession will be of no benefit, save that of those whom the Compassionate has granted leave and with those whose word He is

content.'
