Tea Stories: Hold-tea 🐿️🕊️☕🫖🇵🇸👶🏽🦋

As though there has been an awakening we are all marching as one. Young and old, man and woman, religion does not matter, we have a unified voice.

Cease fire now.

It does make me wonder about the verse in the Qur'an that says that we were all one before we started making factions between ourselves (2:213). The pain we are witnessing today has dissolved many of those factions and we walk as one unit, one Ummah, one people.

A heart beat burst and the whole world cried. Atrocities mark the face of the globe and this has forever scarred many of us.This is the beginning of a new dawn, an undeniable change, and many now have skin in the game.

There are many who are afraid to speak out because they fear discrimination. There are many wondering how far this will go and the impact on their day to day lives. Many are concerned that they could be next. If breaking international laws is not held to account then any of us could find ourselves in the firing line.

Whether we speak plainly or in secret, He is Listening.

20:7 ' 'And if you utter the saying out aloud, surely He knows the secret and what is yet more hidden.'

Take comfort in God's word. We cannot predict the future and nor are we meant to. Facing the future with confidence requires a review of our skills and resources, knowing that we have cultivated skills, learnt how to adapt to change and carry the resources to step into our future.

Our greatest resource is our connection with God and He reassures us. 💚

Surah 93

'By the morning brightness, and by the night when still, thy Lord has not foresaken thee; nor does He despise. And the Hereafter shall be better for thee than this life. And surely thy Lord shall give unto thee, and thou shalt be content. Did He not find thee an orphan and shelter, find thee astray and guide, and find thee in need and enrich? So as for the orphan, scorn not. And as for one who requests, repel not. And as for the blessing of thy Lord, proclaim!'

Surah 94

'Did We not expand for thee thy breast, and lift from thee thy burden that weighed heavily upon thy back? And did We not elevate thy renown? For truly with hardship comes ease! Truly with hardship comes ease! So when thou art free, exert thyself; and let thy desire be for thy Lord.'
